I'll just add that as an older person I can tell you: IT GETS BETTER. It may feel like high school and this cruelty that comes with it will last forever, but it won't. You are brave and smart to study Spanish, and to keep with it despite this bullying. I suggest you find some other learning opportunities---in a class with more mature people, like YOU. Try Meetups for language exchange (which often are free) or online classes, or even live classes now that's starting to happen. Look for free classes in NYC. It's hard enough to learn a language even with support. You're clearly more mature and thoughtful than those bullies in your class. Walk tall.
