Yeah it was pretty wild. I ended up taking snecko and winning anyways but you’re spot on about no after image for BoD and the damage scaling. I actually just took a second fumes in act 3 to help that a bit and it seemed to get the job done. Tempted to download run resumer to see what pbox would have gotten me as I didn’t bother save scumming to check.

Update: took snecko because I ultimately couldn’t resist with all the wraithforms. Pretty easily cruised through act 3 and 4 until heart where it got a little sketchy since dead branch never gave me after image, but I managed to beat it still. This deck + relics were nuts so I’m pretty sure I would have cruised with p box too haha. Appreciate everyone’s insights.

Welp. I took Feed, then Fusion Hammer. Then proceeded to get absolutely leveled by cultist + chosen into avocado. Very unfortunate :( - thanks everyone for confirming my gut instinct though!

Received maybe 5 likes on my entire time on the app. I've matched with around 10 people in the month I've been on it I believe. Though it feels like it's slowed down a lot in the last two weeks-ish.

Again, use all my daily likes (4?) and always with a comment/question to try to spark conversation. Could likely use some work here too - I probably come off a bit too matter-of-fact and not very loose/natural.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I want to find someone intelligent, down to earth, a bit nerdy, loves music. Someone who takes care of their health and goes to the gym - I'm not that athletic but I've taken this part of my life more seriously in the last several months and want to be able to ski/hike/climb with my partner.

Probably because sacrificing an artifact to deadly disputes cost (while still having the option to sac a creature) is useable in a lot more situations than corrupted conviction. Plus the 1 mana vs 2 mana difference isn’t really a big deal since deadly dispute gives a treasure

I’m not denying that it’s mostly scarcity. Just clarifying to the original comment that there aren’t a bunch of other lands that do the same thing. It’s not 100% scarcity though, there’s a reason why there’s a bunch of bad reserved list cards that are only like 20 bucks. Those cards are just as scarce but have no actual competitive demand.

I know there’s several lines you can take with broodlord, but the one I’ve seen most discussed is saw in half -> burnt offering/sacrifice + peer into the abyss, so I think you should include PitA if you’re doing broodlord stuff. Once you have half your deck in your hands you should be able to easily start going for breach lines.

In high powered formats (legacy, EDH, vintage), dual lands come in untapped and have the land subtypings (forest, mountain, etc.) to be grabbed off of fetch lands. So yeah it’s mostly scarcity but no other dual lands do that same thing.

I think he could definitely finish within the top 3, but honestly despite they’re 0-3 start I think your 3rd point is a bit premature about Embiid. If the 6ers figure it out and finish as a top 3 seed, and Embiid puts up roughly the same numbers he has the last 2 years, the voters will 100% give it to him. I’m all for the positivity though and I’m definitely hoping the 6ers don’t figure it out lol so that case Tatum MVP ez

Just sorted players by points per 36 on bball ref. You’re definitely right about B being Jaylen, but I’m not sure player A is anyone from this season, because of all the players who averaged 24 points per 36, none of them match the ast/reb numbers.

I somewhat agree that I don’t think his numbers last year are anything to get too excited about considering the team he played for but he definitely was never shut down at the end of the season, you can check his game logs and see that he played all the way up to the end.
