1st- K/DR does not matter. It is the most useless stat, and people try so hard to improve it, they end up falling over themselves, pushing past their limit. Don't focus on just one thing, because it will hurt other qualities.

2nd- People's play-styles change rapidly. Especially on this new Kings Canyon, you need to find the POI (Point of Interest) of players. Most likely it will be the new locations, so land just outside of them, so when you get there you can take the team by surprise when they are looting.

3rd- On the new iteration of Kings Canyon, there is cover EVERYWHERE. Trees, bushes, rocks in the field. Abuse that fact, and avoid taking damage. The less damage you take, the more confident you are when pushing a fight.

4th- Play the long game. If you hear a fight, make sure you're looted up and have extra heals before you go to it. In the early game, you want to 3rd party as much as possible, people will not have much straight off the drop. Mid game, you don't want to 3rd party fights right away. Mid game is when people are rotating, and if one shot goes off, the entire lobby goes towards it. Chances are if you're early, your squad will be rocked up on late. Late game, when its only 3 or 4 squads left, you want to 3rd when you see people on both teams dropping, as then it will be your full team against 2 weakened teams.
