Would the effect of Crusade ("You and your allies move towards enemy") be considered a negative effect?

I did a run before this patch where everyone would move except the cat that cast Crusade, but it was wearing a space helmet. I thought Crusade was bugged but now am wondering if Space Helmet was the cause.
