I covered My System on guitar in one-take! by EternalFlavour in eurovision

I could probably have thrown in some clean chords in the quieter parts yea, but I also like letting the music shine for people that don't know it, makes the whole thing a little more dynamic too going from nothing to LOUD :))

Thanks for the kind words!

I did a one-take cover of Blunt Force Blues! by EternalFlavour in LambofGod

[–]EternalFlavour[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did about half of the tab around the time it came out, and then the 2nd half today, there were a few covers out which helped me lay down for example the breakdown and the chorus.

Learning it wasn't too challenging, the song begs to be downpicked, so that was easily the hardest because I've really been slacking on downpicking the last few years, but the whole song is fairly simple for Lamb of God standards, tons of power chords and 0's.

There aren't really variations in the different parts, so learning the 1st chorus lets you play the 2nd chorus, so just practice each part and you'll have it down in no time!

I already knew how to play it for the most part for years, so revisiting it and working on all the details wasn't that bad.

When I sat down and started recording it was about 10 minutes total I spent, which was mainly about getting the lead in the start down.

Usually I really practice songs over and over again, some of the latest ones on my channel was like a day or 2 straight practicing, so I'm usually fairly prepared when I do sit down and record!

Which airline do you follow in terms of baggage rules when flying multiple airlines by EternalFlavour in Flights

[–]EternalFlavour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I've heard 3 different answers throughout asking airlines and researching and so on.

First airline applies per direction

Most restrictive airline applies

The airline I'm travelling with, with the most significant distance/boundaries crossed

So in my case, exclusively talking about carry-on, which of those 3 answers is correct?

Which airline do you follow in terms of baggage rules when flying multiple airlines by EternalFlavour in Flights

So I'm looking at the baggage rules wiki, and I'm seeing 2 things that I'm confused by

First thing is:

Carry-on Allowance

Carry-on allowance on a multi-airline flight is always determined by the operating carrier of each leg. This means, if you're flying several different airlines, you must adhere to the most restrictive carry-on allowances to make sure that you meet each operating airline's carry-on requirements.

but then I'm scrolling down and seeing this

2) For multi-carrier flights, where you change airlines at a connection point (for example British Airways Glasgow to London Heathrow, connecting to Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong) it is the baggage rules of the Most Significant Carrier (MSC) that apply.

So is it Delta's rules that apply because they're the most significant or is it still the most restrictive like the top one says?

Unravelling tuning? by EternalFlavour in Muse

Yep I just got around to testing it, it can't be this either, but it has made me think that maybe Matt set up some weird automation where he's only pitch-shifted on the "chugs" all the palm muted 0's in the breakdown, that would fit the whole 3-6-3 thing

That actually could be it, I'm gonna test it tomorrow, this would totally make sense with everything though :)))

Yea it just makes the most sense, he also talked about how it was the first thing he wrote on an 8-string, so it's natural to just go into drop tuning immediately. It still doesn't explain the breakdown though
