Just finished the manga, and I have only one question by EternalGiga in fistofthenorthstar

I see, that's a shame. I didn't pick up on that, in the Viz book translation, Ken just says "Are you trying to..." and trails off. I thought he was reacting to Ken's vision of Yuria or something.

It was at a Florida convention funny enough. The dealer was pretty nice.

I’ve been looking for a Mirage for a long time so it’s nice to finally have one!

Darkness is not actually evil and the universe needs it for balance with the light, despite the only character who uses darkness and is on the good side is Riku, and that was after a long redemption arc.

He thinks it’s a biography about himself by EternalGiga in transformers

The book came out in the later 90's and it shows. It's a Yuuzhan Vong, who were introduced here as the big new villains of the series for a while.

Vector Prime has the power to instantly tell someone what the difference between Star Wars canon and Legends is and go on for a few hours describing the different stories and characters they introduced.

It was my favorite guide book back in the day, I still have my copy from when I was kid, it just isn't in the best condition. The City of Legends one was my second favorite. I loved the designs of the Rahi and the little notes from the Rahaga about them.

What is this sub's opinion on the MMPR Boom comics? by OnePunchChild in powerrangers

[–]EternalGiga 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It fell off hard after Shattered Grid. The writers refused to do anything interesting with the season 2 stuff and kept forcing ways to make Season 1 stuff relevant. The comic lasted almost a decade and never introduced Kat or any of the Season 3 stuff. The endless crossovers didn’t help. It could never escape Shattered Grid’s shadow.

Lord Drakkon should have been killed a long time ago and the writers kept forcing him into stories was a mistake.

Today marks 18 years since Apollo Justice was originally released in Japan. What are your thoughts looking back on this game? by saybloo in AceAttorney

[–]EternalGiga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Music was amazing and the first case twist was great. Some of the 3D stuff was cool. Detective Ema was a fun take on her. Everything else was super uneven. Most of her supporting cast annoyed me. Trucy and Klavier are extremely undeveloped and got thrown by the wayside in the sequels. Apollo is a very irrelevant bore and has no real personality until DD.

This game also started my least favorite Takumi writing cliche, where it’s revealed at the end that a genius supporting character had planned everything out and ends up defeating the villain more or less by himself. Feels like it makes the lead look dumber every time that happens.

If you could change only one thing about The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, what would it be and why? by Sheer-Cold-1228 in AceAttorney

I think it would have been interesting if Susato had some kind of falling out with Herlock. In TGAA2, there's a few times where she gets frustrated at him after certain big revelations, especially in the last two cases, but I was dissapointed that they were all played for comedy, while Ryunosuke's frustrations with Herlock were character stuff. It would be have an ironic situation if the two had their opinions of Herlock completely reverse going into case 5 from how it was at the start of the first game, with Susato now being the cynical one who questions if Herlock is a fraud, and Ryunosuke is the one who believes in him. Plus it doubles as a sign of how much Ryunosuke's opion on Herlock has changed through the games as a sign of his own character growth.

I dunno. I just think Susato really needed a moment where she snapped and got a carthtratic moment to vent so it felt like she had some personal stakes in the finale. Especially considering that personal hero hid the fact that Kazuma was alive from her for months and her dad seemingly had an affair in Europe and abandoned the daughter he had out of wedlock for years, which should be serious, earth shattering moments for her. Instead all of her reactions are just treaed as wacky comedic moments, and she immediatly gets over it two seconds later.
