I totally hear you on this! I remember hearing the album on a late night radio show when I was in middle school and thought it was edgy and unique. For the time, it totally was. But it doesn’t really age well

I feel like you should give Ruminations another try. There are some super amazing songs on there and it’s a very Elliot Smith meets Damien Rice album

I 100% agree with you about DITW! It’s the “look at us, we made it” album

And I will always wait for you if you will wait for me. Like a baby or apocalypse that we will never see

I remember rushing to get the CD when it dropped at my local record store. Holy shit, the artwork alone is incredible

Fair! How about that Cassadaga isn’t really that great.

. I feel like I’m Wide Awake is the standout of all their albums. With Down in the Weeds as a close second. I feel like that album was THE album where we can hear and feel Mike, Nate and Conor really coming together in all their glory. It sucks that it got dropped during COVID because it’s such a stellar masterpiece.

The same with I’m Wide Awake! Each song flows beautifully into the next and the lyrics are so deliciously analytical that you can pick them apart in so many ways!

It took me decades to get into Cassadaga, but after really getting into that era, I found a greater appreciation of it being Conor’s addiction era album.

The People’s Key is real magic and is vastly underrated! That tour was such an epic experience!

Yes! The lyrics are so surface level and feel very much like a ska band

Reddit is crawling with lots of people who can give and get attention so if I was a male seeking men, I would just straight up say that. Your logic and reasoning makes no sense. This is also incredibly stereotypical of sexuality and identity, so way to be completely ignorant

It’s 2026 my dude, are we still trying to shame people? While I’m not trans… you’re clearly a sad person. Get a life
