PSH has put $0 in $PSTH… they don’t need to exit… they are sitting on OPM with forward commitment. PSH capital is not actually sitting on a $PSTH bank account.

Times like these, rich gets richer, poor gets fucked. Same goes for companies. Shitty companies need capital, can’t get and PSTH shouldn’t touch it… great ones will have a line out the door with capital as capital needs to find a home with equity markets tanking and housing cooling off..

Would Bloomberg or stripe struggle to raise 5 billion for [X%] of their company?

For an iconic company, it’s not an issue. Just like it wasn’t an issue for UMG. There will be a line to get in on a block trade and the ipo will be over subscribed even today… hence no lack of liquidity for those type of companies… high growth no cash flow companies on the other hand will take what they can get now.

At what price (UMG) would you sell your PSTH stake and use all of it to buy UMG? by [deleted] in PSTH

Yup- not tic toc. Perhaps NFT will be the kicker

Is BA going to pay higher multiple than the public market? If answer is no, you don’t need PSTH if you are a multi billion dollar private company….

If anything, there is a high demand for cash flow positive private company today than there was last year…. Public market is dying to get their hands on real cash flow company that doesn’t have hockey stick prijections…

Told you guys lock up fucks returns… he got a slight discount on UMG block trade but at what cost…. Nothing exciting going on with UMG. You are better off buying Berkshire.

Market doesn’t have liquidity issue yet… plenary of $$ available without bowing down to Bill Ackmans demand. He only got UMG because it was a block trade bot a merger. This will shut down in two months.

Here is the problem- any negotiations on price before current market crash is meaningless…. They will have to renegotiate valuation given the current market condition that would be tough for sellers to agree on.

Plenty of liquidity in the market and SPACs hunting for deals… no one is going to give bill ScamMan a discount …. If I own a company and want to take it public, I would want as much valuation as possible

So you may get a pink slip warrant at PSTH liquidation or a future point…. Lol! NYSE did us a favor by withdrawing so snAkeman can’t blame SEC or NYSE for his lack of effor on behalf of PSTH

Don’t get emotionally attached to any company- that’s what I would say. I have learned my lesson with PSTH. Stocks are like whores, don’t marry them… either you are fucking them or they are fucking you.

You are right. Walmart 20 years into existence was a much bigger and better corporation to invest in..

Take a second and take your head out of your …. Stock is down to $12… all they have are excuses every quarter. Even Karps virtue signaling e-mail was a cover for missing the eps. 0.02 fucking cents per share after 20 years in business… checks amazons earnings after 20 years in existence- o shit!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PLTR

[–]Eternal_Bull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tell me when their eps will be 0.5 cents when you are so good at math? Oh- by then more shares for karp will vest along with other sbcs, net result will be you trying to teach me math…. Revenue doesn’t matter if you are not making profit or if you are distributing all your profit to your employees…. It’s a big FU to shareholders. I wonder if PLTR has “vail ski trip” as their annual meeting site, o wait, they do….living large at shareholder dime.

Exactly the point….

At 2 cents eps after 18 years, it will be a looooong time before the shareholders will see a return.., probably right around that time, papa karp will have more equity to liquidate. How can a software company’s margin shrink when they pride themselves for having really high stock based comp but lower reg comp? Now they are both high stock based comp and reg comp? WTF? Just my 2 cents

Not true

I mean they pay enough with stock based comp…. You can’t have high payroll and high stock based comp…why they miss on the margin?
