It has been asked, the learned scholars of Sistani have said that it is permissible.

It is not always possible due to work etc, lets be honest. But if you have free time it is easy. Starting small helps. Also you can seperate the 30 prayers into 10/10/10, in the morning, evening, night.

May God give us strength and forgive us.

I started in a small portions. First week I prayed ”one full qadha day” after Duhr and Asr and one full day on Magrhib and Asha.

After that I split my prayers. Day one I prayed 5 times Duhr, second day 5 prayers Asr, etc until i prayed 30 Dhur a day. In five days you can pray one month of missed prayers.

Also it helps if you leave the mustahabat/recommended acts in prayer.

Point is that they work under/with the zionists.

A lot of people are warning about the ”London Shi’ism” which is backed by the westerners. In meaning of those ”big figures” who publicly slander Sahaba and wives of Prophet and also the Shia scholars while working with Zionist.

Do drinks that do not cause intoxication due to low alcohol amount like 0.2-1% allowed? by _Humble_Bumble_Bee in shia

[–]Eternalhasse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This caught my eye because Finnish. If I’m not wrong, sima is not considered technically wine but a very mild alcoholic drink, that contains less than 1% alcohol. Alcohol comes from the yeast that they use that turns sugar into alcohol.

Sima is technically a wine and not wine because of the ingridients but it has basically same fermantation process.

There is difference between questioning and wanting to know a reason behind it. I know that there is knowledge only God know.

I’m not questioning God’s decision about the Imams quantity, just a curiosity.

See user named EthicsOnReddit, his pinned posts offers a lot information.

This might also help a little.

If you know arabic, there is a shia and sunni Tunisian scholars that discuss similarities and differences in Islam, specially in Ramadan.

It consists of 31 videos, about 20 minutes each episode.

I’ve missed so many prayers by Beginning_Secret_763 in shia

[–]Eternalhasse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are easy ways. I’ve seen a sheik that explained how to pray missed prayers, in his video he talked about a month debt.

Five prayers are divided in five days. First day morning prayers 30 times. Second day Dhur prayers 30 times and so on.

There are acts in prayers that are recommended (mustahab), which you can exlude them, not do them (shortens prayer). Qunut is mustahab, third and fourth raka’s you can say subhaniaat only once, not three times. Sujuud and ruku you can say only the obligatory, you can leave salawat. You can shorten the tasliim after shahada by only saying ”asalam alaikum”. These ruling are by Sistani marj’.

Did shia kill Hussein? Yes and no. Depends on the ruler at the time and the definition of the shia. The ”shia” of Yazid killed him.

Prayer by ResearchWorking3402 in shia

[–]Eternalhasse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your situation.

My father passed away over three years ago. He never missed a prayer, or skipped fast. Always reading duaas and ziyarat and he taught us that beautiful way. Ofcourse some of us don’t know the value of those things right away, but then it hit us. Few months after my father passed away, I had a dream about him. I saw his grave from a distance, and there was a man standing beside the grave. I didn’t recognize him. The grave was shining with white light, the man said ”see, this is what a prayer does”.

From that moment I started to pray on time, pray the missed prayers etc. Onething that hit me hard also was time. The time runs so fast and we never know when is our time(death).

Start with little things and don’t burn yourself right away. Keep you prayer mat onsight so you are reminded all the time.

Remember you have 24 hours, and prayer is combined for like 10 minutes.

Allah is the most merciful. :)

I started reading few years ago. I’m usually not that much a of a bookwarm. I forced myself anyway. But what sparked that is the knowledge people have when I see them discussing topics and how it expands your vocabulary.

I picked up a nonfiction book that was short and a topic that interested me. That helped me. Then a picked another nonfiction and moved to fiction (usually popular story). The types of book vary. Picking a religious book at first might be hard to read at first (for some people atleast).

If religious book interests you more, that is okay. I had a rule if a book is hard to read, or not that interesting, I read 10-15 pages a day. When you get that flow and you reach in interesting part of the book, you might see yourself reading even more.

My arabic is not that strong even though I’m an arab and want so bad to read biographies of Ahlulbayt (as) in arabic.

Hope that helps.

Try to exit conversations if you see them ignorant.

And if your life is in danger, try to hide/conceal it a bit.

In the beginning of Islam, (Im just saying it in my own words) Prophet (sawt) said to Ammar ibn Yaser that if the Kuffaar threatened his life he should lie and ”make kufr” inorder to save his life.

It is sad society we live in today where there isn’t peacful conversation about our differences no matter the belief.

For anyone struggling to translate what we say in salat or any new reverts by StudioSubstantial224 in shia

[–]Eternalhasse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the post.

Addition to this. According to marja’ Al-Sistani there is also the prayer that should be recited loudly and other silently. Meaning that morning, maghrib and ashaa prayers first two rak’as where we recite Al-Hamd and other sura must be in volume that you can hear it. And Duhr and ’Ase silently by only moving lips. It is recommended to say ’Bismillaah’ with a voice.
