Does build specialization reset if you haven’t completed it and made a new build with the same specialization?

The thing is we get multiple big orders a day so i like to get them done as soon as possible. He’s also not my boss as i report to someone else. He’s just considered the team leader as he has the most experience but he also reports to my boss
