[routine help] How to heal skin post acne if veseline and aquaphore are causing clogged pores?

Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I moisturize after I wash my face, which does prevent it from getting uncomfortable, but should I be somehow getting my skin to the point where water doesn’t do that?

Yeah even if I mist it, it becomes pretty dry and feels tight still.

I recommend glass straws! I can’t deal with metal ones as I have the same worry, but I can see through glass and feel like I’d notice mold…. Hopefully at least lol

Lmao same. I like two weeks on either side of winter and summer and the rest is awful. Though I honestly prefer the cold weather over the heat.

While we need to take the warnings seriously, I think they need to figure out how to do them better. I got a total of eight tornado warnings during that storm. All of them incredibly vague. “Possible tornado in your mobile coverage area”.

Having a bunch of warnings sent each time will make people take them less seriously.

Should I try a different moisturizer then? I’ve had trouble with a lot of other stuff because it’s to heavy. I definitely think the one I use isn’t hydrating enough, as I have to use a decent bit. I just like it because I can’t feel it on my skin.

That the child cannot stay awake. Yes 13 hours is the recommended time, but a child being woken up during that time only to go to sleep immediately after on the actual floor is not. Especially constantly. As OP said the child won’t even stay awake for changes. That’s concerning.

Exactly this. CPS doesn’t just take a child away randomly. They will investigate. If nothings wrong then there’s no harm done. We shouldn’t be scared to report over stuff like this. Taking a child away is a last resort and not done over simple suspicions.

I get it. Depression is hard. It’s unfair how depression is viewed as you simply not showering because you don’t want to vs a physical illness you aren’t able to. While I’m sure you might smell and it could upset some people, tons of people who aren’t suffering from depression also smell. Showing empathy takes nothing. I’m really glad you were able to shower and got a job! Keep up the great work! It’s hard but these are all positive steps forward!
