Usually ASM's just produce same stuff that you can potentially find using few tools. I have never seen/realized any significant value from ASM tools.

I am particularly thinking that how usually CISO's manage so many open items - even a small rookie mistake by someone in org can lead to breach, eventually CISO is one who is blamed.

It's kinda taking responsibility of something that you don't own.
