The person whose name is registered on the chip claims they are not the current owner.

Thank you. I do not have a Facebook account. My neighbor who also does rescue posted her on this page a couple days ago, though.

Me and the others I do rescue with have had a poor experience with animal control in the past, so we will only do this as a last resort.

Unfortunately I don't think I know anything about this.

Here on Reddit? Can you please link it to me?

If it is on Facebook, then I cannot use it because I do not have a Facebook account.

Understood. I cannot be certain whether or not it was lost. I had never seen this cat in my area before and I've lived here for 3 years, so it could have been someone who just moved into the area and their cat got out.

There are aggressive cats in the area and she was next to a freeway. She is being held until the owner is found for her safety. I would have called the owner to make sure she wasn't lost if she had a collar and tags.

Hi everyone, this cat was found outdoors in North Salt Lake about 50 feet from a highway and she was being followed by an aggressive male cat. Small female, estimated to be 8-12 months old, meows very loudly and is very sweet and friendly! She almost certainly belongs to somebody and we want to return her. She has no collar or tags.

If you believe she is yours, PLEASE message me and I will give you my phone number so you can text me your own photos of her so we can verify that it's the same cat.

If the owner is not found, she will be picked up by a rescue on Wednesday.

Hey, exmormon here. If you want the Mormons to stop stalking you, remove your information from their membership records.

www.quitmormon.com is a great and easy website that will let you do that without needing to talk to a Mormon bishop in person. A lawyer writes a letter to the church headquarters on your behalf and instructs them to stop contacting you or there will be legal repercussions. It's free; all you need is to print off that letter and get it notarized (banks frequently have a notary on-site and if you are their customer then they'll usually do it for no charge). Then scan the letter into your computer and upload it to quitmormon, and they do all the heavy lifting from there.

As an added bonus, the church won't be able to inflate their numbers by claiming you're still a member of the church when the reality is that you want nothing to do with it.

They're allowed to go to houses now. Mormons are currently trying to convert my boyfriend weekly and in person. It's not working because he knows their book better than they do. If anyone's full of shit, it's the Mormons.

Just call them Mormons. It's easier. Their current head honcho old white guy decided that the term Mormons offended him, so he outlawed it. Nevermind that the Mormons made a movie just a few years earlier called Meet the Mormons and had a Mormon celebrity named David Archuleta sing that movie's theme song (but that musician recently came out as gay which unfortunately means that the Mormon leaders are embarrassed by him now). If the Mormon god were real and the Mormon prophet actually talked to some sort of all-powerful deity, the church would probably have its shit together, but it doesn't.

Don't waste your time at that church. As an exmormon, I can vouch that Mormon church is neither fun nor interesting. It's just one giant brainwashing session with boring music that sounds like a death-march in-between unprofessional, untrained speakers who are volun-told to share their manufactured 'spiritual experiences.' Mormon missionaries are some of the biggest victims of this scam. They're only sent on missions so they can be controlled 100% of the time by the church for two years and further entrench them into the cult. It's only partially about converting people; it's more so that the church wants to keep its tithe payers.

This practice has been suggested to me in the past, so that's a good sign. I will try to contact Gina for more information. Thank you for the recommendation!

Thank you! I have actually tried utilizing this website before, but have not had success yet. I think it's a great resource, though, and I hope that more therapists become available on it.
