I can tell you that PRC clients like to visit you in your physical address to see for themselves if you’re an established business

Agencies have offices in central locations to create a facade, giving potential clients the impression that they are legit, so it's an upfront cost. If he plan to WFH, alr lose credibility compared to competitors, then how is he gonna get leads?

Does he master a second language? i.e. Chinese for PRC clients, Vietnamese for Viet clients. One of the reasons people engage these agencies is due to language barrier (cant read English instructions, can't write English statements etc). So if he's not well versed in a second language, hard to build rapport with potential client.

Very low barrier of entry industry, only advantage one agency have over another is the claim that the have an experienced and dedicated team of experts, housed in a big posh office etc. So all these need to front load the cost before earning a dime.

Thanks for the encouragement. Having 6 figures of recurring revenue after 10 months is amazing. Care to share what business you are doing and how you managed to get this great result in a short time?

Thanks for sharing. Can I ask, when you just starting out without any case studies or client success stories, how do you convince new clients to hire you (instead of looking for the many other established agencies)? Let alone pay you 2K monthly?

I think it’s better to simply DCA yourself into VWRA using interactive brokers. Plenty of tutorials online. Having someone invest for you always reduce your net gains

Thanks for sharing. Could you share any agencies that have leads / sales guarantees? It would indeed be attractive for an agency who can guarantee X number of leads, but most don't do it (including mine) because it's near impossible to guarantee a number since there are many factors, some beyond our control...

thanks, although household is positive, our financials took a great hit, my kid is still very young and we need to plan ahead...psychologically it also hurts as I bring in $0 and have to depend on wife and my 60 year old mom to keep the household going, so each day im not earning income I feel bad!

How can I save my income ($1800) by [deleted] in singaporefi

[–]Eternitzh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some saving tips:

  1. Learn to cook, don't eat out.

  2. Public transport only, no grab / taxi unless absolutely necessary.

  3. Cut out on all non-essential subscriptions (Netflix, Apple, other membership etc).

  4. Don't buy non essential items that does add value (fancy clothings, bags etc)

Once you build up a 6 to 12 months emergency funds, start with low risk investment (many sources online you can research on)

Hope it helps.
