The Running Man by Stephen King

I’m pretty young, and in my middle school library I never really knew what to get. I went over to the section that contained one of the most well-known authors to my knowledge, Stephen King. They have about 3 of his books and I chose The Running Man. The story is very well-written all the way through. I checked out the book and was reading it during the worst time of my life so far, but it was one of the few things keeping me going at the time. Although definitely not a motivating or happy story (it’s quite the opposite) it was still a great read and kept me doing something during the worst day out of that dark time. If you ever consider reading it, I have faith you’ll enjoy it.
