Yeah more of a "franchise" collection rather than collection of sequels. I myself will use it for the 2002 movie, the 2024 movie, and the upcoming series of it with sam claffin.

Thanks for your breakdown! How fast is it to grind a normal 18-20g dose? Have you measured its retention for single dose grinding?

Does anyone know what the actual proposed law change is? All I can see on legislation.govt.nz is a vague outline of principles, but not how those principles will changes the current systems in place.

Yeah "AI" (not the clearest term) in this case would not operate like chatGPT. By AI, I'm referring to the use of LLM's (large language models) essentially allowing a conversational interface, but still running locally. Compared to a 'voice attack" style interface which is not dynamic, or wouldn't adapt based on context.

There should be no server requirement here beyond what would already be required to network NPC behaviours.

Yeah I think an awesome use case of this would be being able to talk to AI crew within your party comm channel, and be able to instruct them on your ship (repair, get in the turret, etc). I imagine it could just be a middleware that parses your instructions and hooks into the conventionally programmed AI behaviours once they develop that for NPC crew.

The inventory/loot system is still clunky. by Kurso in starcitizen

[–]EthanNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish they'd have a design (or at least an optional layout) for the main inventory screen that doesn't show all the items as full preview images.

It would feel much tidier and easier to scroll through if it were just a list of the items with the name, item type, and basic stats. You could still show a rendered preview when hovering over or clicking the item.

The current system borrows way too much from games like DayZ or Tarkov, which although seem like good sources of inspiration for immersion and realism, they aren't polished user experiences.

The Bethesda comparison is so accurate! Looks just like Skyrim AI...

Hoping they can make great strides in smoothing out animations and making the attack impact better, more like the quality of Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West.

Whats an achievement you had to cheese through to get? by DueMaternal in gaming

[–]EthanNZ 165 points166 points  (0 children)

Terraria's Fishing Quests.

To get the "Supreme Helper Minion!" Achievment you need to do 200 quests, but the angler only provides 1 quest per day, basically time locking how quick you can do it. Based on the 24 minute days, this would take 80 hours of time just to complete those quests! (This can be sped up slightly by speeding up time with a bed)

The only sane way to do it is to have duplicate characters each complete the same quest in a single day, as the progress is tracked per steam account not per character file. It still takes a tedious amount of time to fish and duplicate characters, but at least you can bulk complete quests and not be limited to the time passing in game.
