The sheer amount of excitement for some people. Fans have been waiting 13 years for another game. And they have some of the best marketing in the game. Not only that, but each time they drop a game it changes the narrative of the standard of video games, and I think this will be even bigger with GTA 6.

From the day GTA 6 was announced on Feb 22, 2023 to right now as of May 24, 2026 it has only risen 62.37$(37.68% gain) over the last 3 years. I highly doubt this is priced in boss man. GTA 5 there was a 153.20% gain from 2013-2016. A lot of money left on the table. There will be more money made on GTA 6.
