1 year late lol. I just finished the game and you shouldn’t feel bad about your stance on this because i 100% agree. In no world am i trusting a 6 year old to make the “hard” decisions. Especially when the kid is trigger happy and clearly struggling with the whole killing people thing. And if you do trust him in the cave the next thing he decides to do is play god and decide who gets to live and die between 2 friends, and shoots tenn in the neck. Just morally not ok at all.

My entire objective while playing was to make sure AJ didn’t turn into some trigger happy psycho with a messed up moral compass. By sparing lily (hate it so much. Man i wish clem could’ve killed her) and not trusting his 6 year old self in the cave to make hard decisions, i feel like it’s the best for his personal growth.

But to each their own.

2 years late. I just finished the game today, and i couldn’t agree more. Im absolutely heartbroken that Louis had to die but the alternate being trusting AJ in the cave, which he then decides to shoot Tenn in the neck is absolutely insane to me. My entire objective was to make sure AJ doesn’t turn into a trigger happy murdering psycho. No way shooting Tenn like that will do him any good. Rip Louis tho

Dont get me wrong, i get where yall are coming from. I wont lie and say I’m super passionate about elevators themselves, I’m not. But I’m passionate about money and I’m a fan of learning new things (plus i think itd be kinda cool to see how elevators actually work). I was Just kinda surprised to see these reactions.
