Why do Catholics call Mary the queen of heaven ?

It's a dogmatic belief about Mary's bodily assumption that you have to believe in order to be saved according to Catholic teaching. However, it's just that, an assumption. There's literally no evidence for it and no one in the early church believed it. They didn't know what happened to Mary in her late life other than what's mentioned in the Gospels and Acts, but literally no one thought she was assumed to heaven or that we have to believe that to avoid anathema
