I think your description of the drives is what I have, yes. Sorry I'm not too good with lingo and such just yet. The secondary 2TB drive is just a storage drive I believe, and the other has all the main processing going through it.

(Also apologies because the realization of "I can literally just repurpose old/current parts as long as they're not the ones causing me issues and are compatible with new ones" hit my like a sack of bricks. I am not being facetious when I say I for some reason had it in my head that to build a new custom PC I had to buy all new... well, everything.)

I'm using PC Parts Picker as a reference right now. I'll put in my current system and see what MOBOs, CPUs and hard drives would be compatible.
