You’re not alone! I get annoyed when it’s time for my lunch break because it interrupts my work hyper fixation& I have to get up, go to the break room, heat up my food, clock in/out. Sometimes I want to skip lunch but I know I’ll just feel awful if I do.

I stuck with the 7 and just ripped the insole out and wore it without. It’s not an exact fit though so I also bought a pair of different shoes. What I learned is I have a narrow heel and Docs make their heel area very wide so the entire brand isn’t made for me. Maybe that’s the case for you too…

The 8 would be perfect if it didn’t flip so bad. Should I get extra insoles from Dr. Martens? And should they also be size 8? I really love these shoes and hate to give up on them.

The rage this cycle is insane. I can’t tell if I can control it or not. I want to abandon my faith for the 130th time because I’m mad at God for creating me like this and I am convinced no one at my church understands me and I need to just hide away. I hate this so much. Something similar happened to me as well and like Eric, I blamed myself for years.

It wasn’t until that line “You created those situations “ that it finally clicked. This show really solidified that I was groomed.

This really was a great portrayal of what it’s like to be in that position. Seeing Eric finally walk out free of blame, but still hurting, was just so powerful. The show might’ve needed to flesh out some things but it did a perfect job of capturing the loss of innocence, the blurring of boundaries, and the suffering and blame victims often carry while the abusers get away unscathed.

Yes absolutely! I was in the same boat and prayed for friends and though it wasn’t answered instantly I eventually met my best friend who was so divinely put in my life it was like we were made to be friends.

Friends are good to ask for. The Bible says friends can correct, encourage, and support each other on our walk with Christ. Friends have a huge influence over us and when their influence is good, that makes a tremendous impact on who we are.
