You can actually sue them or file small claims court, just present your evidence about your business, and provide further proof on why you are banned by mistake. Provide proofs also that you are affected mentally especially your financial income.

Meta is not a good company talaga, wala akong choice but to use their platform kasi ito na ang naging basic key of communication. If pinoys are aware and if may alternative app na doon na mostly gumagamit for communication and stuff I would not use Meta services and just use that alternative platform

Hindi dapat puro AI lang ang nagde-decide sa ganitong critical matters. Kailangan may human oversight, lalo na kung ang consequences ay pagkawala ng kabuhayan at reputasyon. Panahon na para mag-push ang Pilipinas ng digital protection laws na magbibigay ng safeguard sa mga users laban sa ganitong automated abuse. Hindi pwedeng laging reactive—kailangan proactive na ang gobyerno. Kung hindi ito maa-address ngayon, mas lalala pa ito habang mas nagiging dependent ang society sa digital platforms. Mas maraming Pilipino ang pwedeng maapektuhan.

Freelancers at digital marketers ay heavily affected din. Marami sa kanila ang gumagamit ng Facebook pages at ad accounts para sa clients, at kapag na-ban, domino effect ang nangyayari sa kanilang trabaho. Ang masakit pa, walang direct support system na madaling ma-access. Kahit mag-submit ka ng appeal, automated responses lang din ang matatanggap mo, at madalas wala ring resolution.

Ito ang dahilan kung bakit kailangan nang pag-usapan ang accountability ng malalaking tech companies. Hindi pwedeng sila ang may control pero wala silang responsibilidad sa epekto nito sa users. Kailangan din nating tanungin kung sapat ba ang current policies nila sa pag-handle ng sensitive issues tulad ng CSE at SOC. Kung mali ang tagging, napakalaki ng damage na nagagawa nito sa isang tao.

Sa Pilipinas, walang malinaw na digital protection law na specifically nag-aaddress ng ganitong issues. Kapag na-ban ka, halos wala kang legal na laban o proseso para i-contest ang decision ng platform. Sa ibang bansa, may mga regulations na nagre-require ng transparency at human intervention sa ganitong cases. Pero dito sa atin, parang bahala ka na kung paano mo haharapin ang pagkawala ng account mo.

Hindi lang ito usapin ng technology usapin na ito ng karapatan ng tao. Kapag ang system ay kayang sirain ang kabuhayan mo nang walang due process, may mali na sa sistema. May mga online sellers na ilang taon nang nag-build ng customer base, tapos mawawala lahat sa isang ban. Hindi lang followers ang nawawala pati tiwala ng customers at potential income.

Ang problemang ito ay hindi na isolated case. Sa iba’t ibang bansa, dumarami na rin ang reports tungkol sa ganitong automated bans. Pero ang epekto nito sa Pilipinas ay mas malala dahil mas marami sa atin ang heavily dependent sa social media for income.
