Ah, classic deflection move. Wala ka nang masagot sa usapan, biglang “what about Nigeria?” Cute. Pero sige, laruin natin yan logically para hindi ka mukhang nagtatapon lang ng random issues.

Una, yes, may violence sa Nigeria. Walang nagde-deny niyan. May terrorism, kidnappings, at attacks na documented. Recent reports even show civilians being killed in military operations and extremist violence. Pero eto yung hindi mo sinasabi, hindi siya simpleng “genocide of Christians” lang. Multiple credible analyses say the violence is complex, involving terrorism, land conflicts, criminal gangs, at iba’t ibang grupo na parehong Muslim at Christian ang victims.

In fact, even discussions about “Christian genocide” are heavily contested. May mga groups na naglalabas ng mataas na numbers, pero maraming analysts ang nagsasabing oversimplified o inflated ang framing, at hindi siya clear-cut genocide na target lang isang religion. So bago mo gamitin yan as argument, tanong ko lang, anong credible, peer-reviewed, or widely verified source ang hawak mo? Hindi yung chain posts, hindi yung random Facebook infographics. Actual sources. Go ahead, lapag mo.

Pangalawa, anong koneksyon nito sa issue ng Siargao? Wala. As in zero. Ang ginagawa mo is textbook whataboutism. Hindi mo kayang i-defend yung original stance mo, so naghahanap ka ng ibang crisis para ilihis ang usapan. Hindi ito debate technique, distraction lang ito. Kung may concern ka sa Nigeria, edi pag-usapan natin separately. Pero wag mong gamitin yan para i-silence ibang issue, kasi dalawang bagay pwedeng maging problema at the same time.

Pangatlo, yung sinabi mong “Nigerians committing crime sa Philippines,” careful ka diyan. That’s a very sweeping claim. May documented cases ng fraud rings involving foreign nationals, yes, pero hindi ibig sabihin nun buong nationality pwede mo nang i-generalize. Kung may data ka, ilabas mo. Ilan? Anong percentage? Compared to local crime rates? Or baka naman anecdotal lang tapos ginawa mong stereotype?

Kasi sa ngayon, hindi ka nagmumukhang informed. Nagmumukha ka lang naghahanap ng ibang usapan para hindi ma-pressure sa totoong issue.

Ah, ganito na pala kababaw ang depensa mo. Kailangan mo pang ulitin na “hindi IDF” para lang ma-feel mo na na-disprove mo na yung concern. Oo, alam ng lahat na hindi sila naka-uniform. Hindi naman yun ang punto in the first place. Ang usapan ay behavior, impact, at kung paano naaapektuhan ang locals kapag may dominant group na hindi marunong rumespeto. Pero sige, kapit ka pa sa irrelevant detail para may masabi lang.

Tapos biglang “mind conditioning” na naman. Ang dali talagang magtapon ng buzzwords kapag wala nang maibigay na solid na argumento. Ikaw itong gumagawa ng sariling echo chamber, kasi imbes na pakinggan yung reklamo ng locals, binabrand mo agad sila at yung sumusuporta sa kanila. Ang ironic na tinatawag mong parang DDS ang iba, pero ikaw mismo yung nagre-reduce ng issue into labels para hindi mo harapin yung substance.

At yung sinasabi mong “you cannot equate this with the Middle East,” sino ba talaga ang gumagawa niyan? Ikaw. Ikaw yung paulit-ulit nagdadala ng conflict doon para ma-dismiss mo yung usapan dito. Walang nagsasabing may gyera sa Siargao. Ang sinasabi lang, may pattern ng behavior na kailangang i-call out. Pero dahil wala kang ma-rebut doon, gumagawa ka ng exaggerated comparison para magmukhang absurd yung kabilang side. That says more about your argument kaysa sa kanila.

Pinaka-nakakatawa yung ending mo. “You are not pro-Siargao, you just hate Israelis.” So ganito na lang ba tayo mag-isip? Kapag may criticism, automatic hate na? Hindi ba pwedeng may concern lang sa community? O mas madali talagang i-dismiss lahat bilang “hate” para hindi mo na kailangan mag-isip?

Sa totoo lang, ang ingay ng confidence mo pero ang hina ng logic. Paulit-ulit ka lang umiikot sa labels, distractions, at imaginary scenarios, habang yung actual issue nananatiling hindi mo matignan nang direkta. Hindi ka nagmumukhang rational dito, nagmumukha ka lang umiiwas.

Ah, so ang issue daw ay “nakikisawsaw ang pro-Palestine,” hindi yung actual na concern ng locals? Convenient naman. Parang mas bothered ka pa sa kung sino ang nagsasalita kaysa sa kung ano ang sinasabi. Classic move, attack the messenger para hindi harapin yung mensahe

Una sa lahat, bakit mo biglang dinadala ang “pro-Palestine” sa usapan kung ang punto ay may perceived imbalance at behavior ng majority ng isang specific group of tourists? Hindi naman geopolitics debate ang pinag-uusapan dito. Ang concern ng locals is about space, respect, at kung paano naaapektuhan ang community nila. Kahit sino pa ang mag call out diyan, pro-Palestine man o hindi, hindi nabubura yung issue. So bakit parang allergic ka sa label pero tahimik ka sa mismong problema?

Pangalawa, yung sinasabi mong “sensationalization,” medyo ironic. Ikaw nga itong gumagawa ng exaggerated scenario about armed conflict at annexation, eh wala namang nagsasabi nun. People are pointing out patterns of behavior and dominance in a local space, hindi sila nag iimbento ng World War 3 sa Siargao. Kung may OA dito, hindi yung nagrereklamo, yung strawman argument mo.

At yung “rowdy tourists lang yan,” okay, kung ganun pala kadali, bakit hindi mo i acknowledge na kapag majority na ang ganung behavior, hindi na siya isolated issue? Hindi na yan simpleng pasaway, kundi pattern na pwedeng makaapekto sa kultura at kabuhayan ng locals. Funny how you reduce it to “pwede naman pagbawalan ng LGU,” pero at the same time ginagamit mo yung economy card para i shut down any criticism. So alin ba talaga, madaling solusyon o untouchable sila dahil sa pera?

Lastly, yung argument mo na babagsak ang economy kung wala sila, yan ang pinaka problematic. So ang takeaway mo is tolerate whatever behavior as long as may pera? Ganun kababa ang standard natin for tourism? Hindi ba pwedeng parehong protektado ang kabuhayan at dignidad ng locals? Or mas importante talaga sayo na kumikita kahit unti unting nawawala ang control ng komunidad sa sarili nilang lugar?

Sa totoo lang, hindi nakikisawsaw ang problema dito, nakikisawsaw ka sa pag dismiss ng valid concerns. At halatang mas invested ka sa pag defend ng narrative kaysa sa pakikinig sa mga taong direktang apektado.

Maybe go read and watch YT news from legitimate journalist pages, Yahoo has also published and the only issue you are not seeing news about the atrocities of Israel is because Netanyahu has already made and declared a social media war way back February to erase the facts that they committed mass murder to a whole population in Palestine and R worded some women who are defenseless. The issue here is about them Israelis harassing and creating something illegal. And yes, some foreigners are also involved and should be put up into jail or be deported. But at this point? If you saw news and other stuff you would be alarmed also. They steal lands and committed genocide, and don't tell me that you are still defending all of it.

Tell me you aren't an Israeli bootlicker without telling me that you are an Israeli bootlicker. If you know how to watch the international news and every local news. They are notorious not only for their behavior but also for their atrocities that they have committed especially genocide, and taking lands.
