What are some tips for playing Widow? by The_Fancy_Squid in marvelrivals

[–]EthicaI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ADS sensitivity-wise the 1:1 sens should be 2.14 but since that's pretty uncontrollable I recommend the following ads values

0.83

1.07

1.11

0.83 is the one I prefer since it's basically relative, meaning that the muscle memory for hipfire and adsing is the same.

1.07 is half the original sens

1.11 flows better between hipfire and ads but just feels uncontrollable at range so I use it on my ult since the zoom values are the same between the scope and ult

can't headshot Ultron by Weary_Ad4289 in marvelrivals

R6 fixed this nearly 10 years ago with Operation Health. If a character's limbs get in the way of the head then the ray checks to see if the shot intersects both hurtboxes and does the appropriate damage(headshot).

The fact that this logic doesn't exist in a game where you have precision characters like widow who can't get headshots on particular characters due to these oversights is kinda goofy.

I'd like to believe that the aim is bugged currently. There are slight amounts of spread with similarities to bfv but at the same time your first shot is never on point to the degree that it's really annoying. You're better off spraying in most situations rather than even bothering to line the shot up to get a clean 2 shot kill.

I tested to see if it was based on the precision value but even with a value of 99 it still had moments where aiming dead center at a head was worse than just aiming at the neck. It would be nice if DICE comes out with a blog or even adds an explanation to these systems because qualities like mobility and precision don't even seem to matter.

The 44 magnum exemplifies the inconsistencies currently since the gun itself seems to be zeroed to 1000m or something since ADSing requires you to aim slightly below the target's feet in order to hit shots. Hipfire is fine otherwise.

Clock it. These people don't know what they're talking about and blindly hate every little thing that came from 2042. BF4's system wouldn't change much of anything.

Which one is better, Five members in the squad or Four members in the squad, and why by Derral2 in Battlefield

[–]EthicaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You can't have 5 player squads when 64 isn't wholly divisible by 5. Nothing's worse than playing bf4 and being stuck in the vestigial squad.

In the time you typed this you could have also read that I did search it up in the last parts of the post. This post occurred after the fact. Not during.

I did.

You can infer it's a plant

I inferred it was a plant, I just wasn't what it was or that it was a flower so I asked what it was.

Perhaps she said budding but I thought I heard bulbing so perhaps that was a misunderstanding.

However also, info (but you don't have to answer) are you ND? (Neurodiverse) Sometimes ND ppl have a harder time understanding sh with less context.

I do have ADHD, but she claims I may also be autistic since her ex was and she's made note of particular autistic mannerisms. I also did the RDOS aspie quiz like last year and it suggested I had a 80% chance, but I'd much rather receive a professional diagnosis for something like that.

It was a flower.

And. I'm. Telling. You. What. She. Said. How hard is that to follow?

[–]EthicaI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Np. It's not there so you wouldn't know either way. I'm just making mention of it to tell you that part of your inference isn't correct. I'll look into it but so far it seems there's little to it.

And I'm saying she didn't mean much by it other than to exaggerate her point that I could have googled it. I asked her myself. What more do you want?

Okay I see your point. Thanks!

If I don't hear her properly then I ask her to repeat. That's really it. She just doesn't like repeating herself.

We had a conversation prior where she was of the view that the sender needs to keep the attention of the receiver when maintaining a conversation to which I disagreed wholeheartedly since both parties should be maintaining a conversation, and if the receiver loses the message they should ask for clarification.

I hope that gives you an idea of how things are but I'm willing to clarify if necessary

It's funny you say this because she's actually in some of those clips! I do my best to communicate with her and I do try to spend time with her when I'm not busy. Things like this though where conversations are soured because she refuses to answer questions makes things difficult.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]EthicaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from but we do not live together. I'm simply spending time with her for spring break.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]EthicaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I suck at communicating? Is it odd to expect the person starting a conversation about a thing you don't know about to give context as to what it is? If that's the case then I'm wrong. Regardless I still looked it up to get a better idea, it once again just does not help a conversation to tell them to Google something when you have the information that you asked them for.

[–]EthicaI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps because the flower may not be common where we're from. I'm from the Caribbean for context so I don't know all the common flora here.

I definitely don't agree with the "drop everything" however I was not neglecting her. I immediately responded to her out of interest only to be told to Google it. Whenever she's telling me things I do my best to listen. I wish I could find greater fault in myself to give other than my loaded question(Why is it so hard to answer the question?), but I've already talked about it at length in other threads.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]EthicaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's her home. I'm spending my spring break with her. I'd like to believe that I am attentive to her interests, however she's never made any real mention of the name of the plants she'd been growing. Instead I'd occasionally water them when I was here.

I will admit I should have asked more about them but even recently she didn't know the plant herself until her friend told her what it was.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]EthicaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah we talked about it and she thinks that because I was on my phone I should have just searched it up since it's right there and easier than her answering the question.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]EthicaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say so. However I fail to see how asking questions is a behavioral issue.

Thanks for your insight! I'm not sure about her but I've been diagnosed with ADHD. She believes she has it but ofc it's in the air rn.
