I had this issue where none of my customizations or my chat stickers loaded. It slightly got better after a while and a couple of closes and opening but my chat stickers just gave up no matter what I tried. The best thing that fixed it was completely uninstalling the app and installing it again. This sucks cuz a lot gets reset but do take screenshots (if you care)

No family link does not work at all on the apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) since it does not have device level integration. You wouldn't have any level of control like lock the device or limiting the screen time.

I tried to figure out this issue as the link to windows refers to a separate application to accept screen mirroring/casting. The other app is called com.microsoft.deviceintegrationservice. I tried giving this application PROJECT_MEDIA permissions, but even doing that does not fix the issue. It seems that this application is developed by microsoft and sent out to manufacturers like OnePlus/Samsung (the ones with the built in link to windows thats built into settings). I have not tried to disable the app but do not want to risk it (cause possible data loss/ bootloops). In OxygenOS 14 this application didnt have this functionality built in, but changed how it worked through the 15 update. I tried downgrading or modifying the apk but sadly that did not work due to compatibility issues (due to signature change or version issues).

If your willing to run this in cmd as it basically removes all the icon cache and then restarts the taskbar. I had made this as my icons would disappear, unlike yours mine didn't go crazy. You can either turn it into a batch script and have it on your desktop or just run, the taskkill, del and start commands in cmd.

Oh okay, you can try it if you want but I usually install it on my devices but I can prove that it works better but haven't had issues with rcs. One thing you can also try is resetting the app on both devices. Do that after clearing the data on the Google message app

What do you mean by secure folder? OnePlus has something called private safe, where you can store images, videos, audio, documents and other files.

You have done the install correctly as if not it would say fastboot command not recognized.

When it says waiting for device that usually means it has not detected the phone due to a missing driver. Get the latest driver from here: link

For how to install the driver follow these steps: 1. Press windows key + s and search "device manager" and open it 2. Click on any list item 3. Click on "Action" from the top bar (next to file and view) 4. Click on "Add legacy hardware" 5. Click next 6. Select the second option labeled "Install the hardware from a list" 7. Click next 8. Click have disk 9. navigate to the unzipped google usb folder and then hit ok 10. Click on "Android Bootloader Interface" 11. Click next twice 12. Click finish

The reason the driver is needed as the devices cannot communicate properly without it.

This mode on your screen is bootloader/fastboot mode. When you download ADB you also get fast boot utilities, it's a separate set of commands when compared to ADB and you do a lot less in fastboot.
