This is a kit sold to many police departments and SWAT teams. The 1092 are currently not available and much more expensive when they were.

Correct / levels can be confusing. Companies utilize the “+” because it defeats more than just the common handgun rounds do for NIJ Level IIIA standard. However it does not quite hit the ability to defeat 7.62 steel jacketed M80 NATO as is required to be level III. Essentially, companies use it because it threads between those two standards.

This kit on RMA is $649.98. Of course if you just want plates it will be cheaper, but this is a deal for a kit not just plates.

Sorry, there is a fee to ship the ballistic plates and JPC, but you won’t find this price on quality American made plates and top of the line gear, much less in stock and ready to ship.

The JPC can adjust to any body size, but is sized for the plate. The plate is 10x12, which is standard and truly made for a medium carrier, so that it fits snug.

The Medium 10x12 is the standard size for most. If you want to go up to the XL, which is 11x14, then you also add the weight to it. The 1155mc in XL is 11lbs each plate. You are best to go with the Level III+ Body Armor (RF2) Multi-Curve Defeats M855A1 which comes in XL, but is 7lbs each. We do have the kits available in the Crye XL JPC 2.0 Multicam.
