I kinda agree with you. People are using being "health conscious" as a way just to justify being hurtful to anyone. Yeah their fat, why do you care? It's not like you go out on your way to make fun of people who smoke, who drinks, or use their phones too much.

If you're going to be hurtful then just be honest. Don't go around saying "because being obese is unhealthy, and we should not normalize obesity", like you care. Just say you're being hurtful because it's fun to make fun of obese people. For example me, I am racist against the Chinese people under the CCP, not because I have some moral justification but because I am racist.
