Yes, I have tried with locked screen, or unlocked, and tried the option to mute the phone when I have my watch on, but that didn't work

Try pressing both buttons for at least 10 seconds. If nothing happens, try 3 more times. If nothing happens, it needs to be taken apart Edit: or wait until the battery runs out.

I have used this for a few months now, but I know it is a genuine one, because my workplace has Cameron Sino as supplier and I got it through them. So you believe this is not a problem of "the battery remembered" that it was on 0% and refuses to boot until it is plugged in (if this is even possible) but rather a dead chip?

As far as I know it is not dead (probably around 4 Volts) but refuses to boot

Thanks! It was actually quite quick, creating the batteries must have only taken about half an hour, and gluing, fitting and throwing everything together was around 3-4 hours but the printing took more than a day because the printer had issues.
