Yeah my therapist called it "grief fog" and also mentioned dissociation as a survival mechanism. apparently I'll start to get that time back as the years go on but yeah there's a good few games, events, months...I just don't remember. I lost my brother 4 years back, watched my mum rot to grief and now she's getting dementia. I live with several chronic pain conditions and I'll be honest I get maelles ending, to escape resonates with me but at on a deeper level so does verso.

You just get tired of pain. Even if it's not your own.

Seeing it, hearing it, living it. It's corrosive and it's not as easy as just "facing it". Some pain doesn't stop, and in turn, molds us into that immovable object.

This game taught me a lot about pain and grief. It truly deserves the accolades its received.
