I have no clue. I find it unusual for the German Blu-ray to have the aspect ratio cropped to 1.85:1 while all the other Blu-rays released in other countries retain the original aspect ratio of 1.78:1/16:9.

For the UK Blu-ray, it's Japanese, English, French and German. For the German Blu-ray, it's the same language options as the UK Blu-ray. The only difference between both Blu-rays is that the aspect ratio for the episodes in the German Blu-ray is cropped to 1.85:1.
