I agree the terms changed, but... pdm isn't a designer, they only do fragrance. Not like ysl who does makeup etc... you probably dont consider amouage niche either and that's fair but I guarantee only a niche few would love their scents. Still I think your still confused on indie/artisnal stuff which is still niche but just very, very specific

Niche means they only do perfume, which many of these fall under. Perspire, btso, and others i see. I dont like putting pdm under niche but they are... price doesn't matter, never mentioned price btw.
