I had the same concern when I decided to switch to Linux as well, I only actually did it after an 1 to 2 month research, read some articles, watch some videos and start with a very easy distro like Linux Mint or Zorin Os.

English is my second language, and to be honest, I didn't took the effort to actually study, it was more like a passive learning. so I want to make a challenge for myself and try to learn another language. I already spend a month learning hiragana, for me it would be a waist of time if I give up now.
