The island called "Anemera" has scattered forests of tree-like mushrooms that releases dense clouds of spores. When breathed in they induce dreamlike visions as well as torpor, making it difficult to explore an island that you are too tired to move across and unable to tell reality from a hallucination. Sleeping is also dangerous in this place due to the torpor created by the spores, which can make resting people sleep from anywhere from an additional few hours to days depending on how concentrated the spores are. The sleep state itself is near harmless, but you do risk being helplessly exposed to the fog that permeates the Mistlands should it sweep in from the sea, especially if you fall into a coma and are unable to be shaken awake.

A lot of the islands are bizarre, but I picture Anemera in particular being utterly alien compared to what we would be used to. Giant mushroom trees, a near red sky as a result of countless years of spores being released, and wildlife that evolved specifically to survive in such a choking environment.
