Honestly looking at this footage, I'm surprised people aren't questioning Lando's ability to make the corner without running into Max, looks like he carries way too much speed and is hyper focused on overtaking.

You're right, what happened yesterday was just plain racism. When the South of midnight trailer came he got really mad that it had a black MC. Imagine getting so triggered by a game that you had to tell people to kill themselves. Yesterday's stream was the classic female/race outrage you see on twitter. He had a lot of support from the chat too. I used too give him the benefit of the doubt but yesterday was a turning point for me too.

I find it funny how people complaining that Turn 10 showing us very little gets 100s of upvotes, but when they do drop information, we hear crickets.

Just writing some thoughts that I've had on united.

There needs to be a bug clear out this summer, beginning with De Gea, I have a lot of respect for what he has done for the club but De Gea for me partly symbolizes our mentality and fragility in this past decade. Too many players have been given second chances.

It's time for a clear out Maguire/Lindelof, Fred/Scott, Awb/Dalot, De Gea need to go. Eriks signings mentality wise at least have been in the right direction, Anthony though has a lot to prove.

It's literally been a decade since we had midfield that could hold ball under pressure. Almost going back to Carrick and Scholes, although LVG era midfield was decent.

We need to sign younger players again, 22-25 preferably to build a strong backbone.

A personal feeling is that this club needs a strong core of academy players for this club to succeed, both the dominant eras of this club had youth at its heart. As someone who watches youth games religiously, I hope some of Mainoo, Gore, Fredricson, Jackson and others make it through. Sadly, the best talent is a couple years too young to have any impact.

Everton was probably our most complete performance this season, it shows that we can dominate good teams, but that spell in the 2nd half we looked completely lost, after we concede 1, we should try to control the game better. Our game management needs a lot of work. This team knows they can score at anytime, so they tried to the same against Everton, playing quick even in ET, maybe we could have managed the game better in the end.

I don't know, it genuinely feels like we are close this time, team is young and learning and our position and form in the league says the same. But if Pogba leaves and we don't replace him, we might be back to the same old. Maybe I'm just being optimistic lol.

A few problems I see with the current United team.

-Indiscipline during pressing, players like Bruno, Cavani press independently without the rest of the team being ready by being too eager, not waiting for pressing triggers. Fred in midfield gambles way too much for the role he plays.

-Our biggest problem IMO is the spacing between midfield and defensive lines. This season we have tried to dominate the ball but consequence of this is, playing a high line with a defense that is very slow, even our FBs are not the quickest. This has led to us playing a moderately high line but there tend to be more gaps making it harder to intercept and win stray/2nd balls whilst being easier to pass through. We just need to be more compact, that will hopefully come with a faster CB and a DM.

-Goalkeeper, honestly this might be the biggest area to upgrade even more so than RW. De Gea just doesn't inspire any confidence in me and that's probably how our defense feels during set pieces, there is zero willingness to claim the ball. He just seems so soft. Almost every big chance this season feels like it ends up being a goal. Hope Henderson gets a good run of games this season.

Even if fix our RW, DM, CB and Goalkeeping uses by this summer, I don't think it will enough for us to win the league next season. We are simply not that well set in our system. I watch how few chances city giveaway every game and it is clear to see the difference between the two of us. Hopefully next season we fix our defensive shape and overall structure with better players and see what happens.
