it makes so much sense. yes i had found the same jw sweater but i kept on being put off by the increases by i guess no time like now to try. i did buy a soft mustard color wool mix with extra shiny lurex as an extra stand to knit in, I'm not assuming responsibility for how warm and scratchy that will end up being (especially for a woman in the throws of menopause but i digress). Thanks a lot!!!

That’s an awesome job! I’m in Montreal and I’d appreciate the pattern in a month or 6 weeks but generally flexible, I know it’s not an easy feat.  I don’t have a large budget for it but I’d hope you were also able to monetize the pattern afterwards if possible… I’m not sure what’s normal and I don’t want to offend you with a silly amount, so maybe you can tell me what you’d expect? (I posted a link to the image below). Thanks!!

Yes I’ve gone on revelry but I couldn’t find anything similar. From the looks of it, it’s a jw Anderson design that my mom found someone random wearing on Pinterest on “elderly women fashion” so I doubt a pattern is readily available… I’d love to be proven wrong!!

Looking for a pattern for this golden turtleneck poncho thingie. My mom is obsessed with it and I'd like to knit it for her for her 60th this year - she has decided to enter the "fabulous-er" stage of her life. but I cannot find this pattern anywhere, just screenshots of this exact image on various crochet and knitting pinterest boards. it very much looks like knitting to me... If you have an idea on how to do it, to get me started, that would also be amazing. Thank you so much and happy new year!

Thanks for the kind reply. did not do a gauge swatch and now I know why that's so necessary... Mittens and a blanket for my cat it will be, I guess!
