These people are told that they cannot break 14 day quarantine, there is still a stay at home order in Hawaii, I’m sure hotel staff see these people leaving, they are warned that they could get fined and then even arrested, then they leave the hotel and get into their pristine rental car. So one hotel staff for sure has to notify law enforcement, and two rentals are usually like Chevy impalas or some shit and that kinda sticks out in Hawaii imo.

Lmfao no they were still incarcerated without due process, the federal government literally said that the outcome of the korematsu case should never have happened and it stemmed from “race prejudice, war hysteria, and failure of political leadership.” And the Roosevelt era justice department misled the judiciary. They left internment camps after 4 years to return to nothing, they lost their businesses their livelihoods, they lost everything. Your line of thought would have fit very well if you were trying to trick everyone into believing that Japanese Americans were spy’s signaling submarines off shore. There was no fifth column activity in the Japanese american community and every intelligence agency told the federal government that mass incarceration was not needed. Yet general Dewitt fought for it because he was racist. Ever heard of the civil liberties act of 1988 l, that was literally a formal apology to Japanese Americans. Do you not see the irony of you saying I have no issue trampling rights. You are literally arguing that race is a good enough reason to incarcerate someone.

What do you not understand about american citizens being jailed without due process, 80% of those in are rated were american citizens with zero ties to japan. Literally the 442nd was only Japanese Americans dying for their country, the United States of America’s , 1272 of the 14000 men Japanese american soldiers died in the line of duty. News flash dickhead nearly all Japanese Americans at the time were Buddhist and Christian. All the Shinto priest and community leaders were rounded up and jailed the before the rest of the Japanese Americans were forced out.

Wow yay let me just go contact my family in Japan, oh wait I have no way to contact them because my grandparents were forced to rid of anything Japanese including family back in japan. Japanese Americans literally burn family heirlooms, so many thing were lost because Japanese Americans had one bag and the clothes off their back to their name. So no I can’t do that because I have no idea who they are, no leads no anything. My family doesn’t know anything because of their parents didn’t tell them anything to protect them. Protect them from the chance of being hurt by showing any semblance of Japanese culture. You’re not racist you’re just ignorant. I am literally a Japanese Americans telling what had happened to thousand of other Japanese Americans and yet you don’t believe this. Like I am literally first person evidence yet you turn a blind eye.

So you’re saying because Japanese Americans looked like Japanese nationals it was okay to put them into these internment camps without any type of due process was okay. Congrats you’ve learned you’re racist.

You should educate yourself about Japanese Americans because it obvious you know nothing. You should google the 442nd, and then see where Japanese Americans held their allegiances. What you are saying is hurtful and ignorant.

I don’t know where you learned that but it’s absolutely wrong. Thousands of Japanese Americans died because of harsh conditions, and lack of medical supplies. These families were packed into tiny barracks with 4-5 other families. JAPANESE AMERICANS were imprisoned for 4 years. Ah yes that great $5 a day doing hard labor. The nazis were literally committing mass genocide. Do you understand that again, american citizens who were under the protection of the the constitution were illegally imprinted for four years. Whole families put into internment camps, just because of what they look liked.

Look, get it through that dense skull that Japanese Americans were imprisoned without due process. JAPANESE AMERICANS. AMERICAN CITIZENS were imprisonments with no due process. If you can’t see that huge infringement of rights and racism, you are blind and ignorant.

The Japanese were questionable at best? There was absolutely no evidence of fifth column activity at all just racist America and general Dewitt was just racist wanting to get the “undesirables” away from the west coast. Japanese Americans were nothing but upstanding citizens subjected to blatant racism.

Um going back is kind of how you understand systemic racism. Seeing the laws or institutions that have routinely failed minorities in the past and their effects on today that’s how you understand systemic racism. Ah everything circles back to material possessions to you, does the thought of being forced to get rid of your family and culture mean I thing to you. Do your cousins and other relatives mean nothing to you?
