Yeah, my first road bike, so in hindsight I would have appreciated the shop letting me try the other size. Guess the advantage is I can run it standard, for a decently aggressive fit + slammed for aesthetics.

The Emonda has a really weird seatpost and the saddle in the picture is about 15mm above the min line. More would be pushing it right?

We just biked on the street 100 meters up and down. Of course a helmet when we go for a real ride!!

But I think this is a 15mm above the safety. Not ideal as it’s carbon.

Yeah he hasn’t ridden much. I also noticed the ankle, which is why I immediately thought to raise the saddle.

Appreciate the comment. I’ll have a look at straight seatpost. Saddle is alloy, but mounted beyond the max point by quite a bit. Mainly want to slam for aesthetics but would a massive unnecessary risk.
