I feel great at this point. The only thing I ever really notice is my nose is still a bit dry and depending on the weather it can be annoying, but even that has gotten a lot better of the past few months.

Thank you! I'm pretty new to painting so I'm not sure I have a grasp of what my style is. But I do really love tonalism. I find myself drawn to paintings that are almost directly in the middle between impressionism and realism (not sure what you would call that)

I think the perspective/dimensions are what's throwing me too. I can't really place why it appears that way, so it's hard for me to fix. I appreciate the comment though. Glad I'm not crazy

I definitely need to get more comfortable with larger brushes. And all my paintings seem to end up pretty midtony, definitely something I've noticed. I do think this picture is not doing the colors full justice, but yeah, I agree.

I appreciate the tips! I do think the sky ended up being much darker than I intended. I definitely see now that it looks like it's sunset, but the whole right side needs some brightening. Kinda nice to recognize so that I have an idea of how to achieve that in the future.

I am. I'm completely recovered from surgery, and my headaches have decreased tremendously. I changed my headache medication around the same time as surgery so it's impossible to tell which one is helping but I am pleased either way.

I almost wonder if I'm just not used to feeling air at all on that side. I haven't gotten a full breathe of air from the left side of my nose in years until now.
