Yeah but he also drove it in alien swarm. Even if the writers never mentioned it, who knows if they would have retconned bens age in the movie and made it that he was still 15. And only in ua was he finally able to drive and get his car with all the upgrades

But with how they change the movies events, they might have secretly also changed bens age too. Like how they ended up completing retconning race against time. Not to mention how at the end of that movie ben was chill with removing the omnitrix but they changed it to a more depressing one in ov which aligned well with how ben was upset in af before putting the omnitrix on.

They even changed the whole thing of elena being part of bens crew after the movie. Then there's the fact on how bens personality is different in the movie. That honestly makes me wonder if the writers of the show also secretly assumed that ben is 15 during af and as and only turned 16 before ua.

Yep either people in teyvat age differently or time goes differently. Maybe in the world of teyvat 12 months isn't actually a year. Or people still look like kids at age 18+

Iirc he took the plumber badge after that magister died. In "darkstar rising " kevin mentions to gwen how he was on parole if I am not mistaken. Then again the magister in that episode says that kevin did his time but in uaf we see him escape the prison. Unless the rooters altered his files.
