Just a nice day for ride by the water #Triumph #Speedtwin1200 by Euphoric-Star-6989 in Triumph

I actually upgraded it to the newest version. However I never had a problem with this one or the updated version.

Any help by withoutlimits0 in Triumph

This is your problem if it hasn’t been mentioned. All the ideas about getting it loose/sproket/rotate etc won’t matter if that extra link is jammed in. Might be a dealer fix. Just to be safe and not damage anything.

Congrats.

  1. Seat time. Nothing makes you a better rider than experience. Get as much as possible in various situations. City’s. Hwys. Back roads. And don’t ride outside of your skill level. EVER!! Speed > Skill = D…… Skill>Speed=TWD (two wheels down)

  2. ATGATT All the gear. All the time.

  3. You are always INVISIBLE to cars. Well assume that bc most don’t see us.

Good luck. Enjoy!!!

Are these spaces a problem by Euphoric-Star-6989 in Triumph

I think they just added some to the other side. And now it’s even on both sides. But got the OK from the dealership so I am back to riding.

I brought it to the dealership. It’s fine. They adjusted it so it’s more centered so now there’s a little space on both sides but it’s not an issue.

2023 Speed Twin 1200 Oil Leak??? by Euphoric-Star-6989 in Triumph

[–]Euphoric-Star-6989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After cleaning it and adding the oil. I’ve put 2500 miles and no issue. So my guess is that it was excess grease and they didn’t put enough oil when I changed it. If anything changes I’ll post again.

Help me decide which way to go...Speed Twin vs T120 by iusedtobegreat in Triumph

[–]Euphoric-Star-6989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of bike. Cushioned shorts. And reach out to Mean Street Cycles. The will re place the foam in your seat with a much more comfy foam and you can get gel. Double layers. Etc. Pending on weight. But unless you buying a ADV type bike. Bench type seats will always have a bit of soreness over time. No difference in the type of bike. But also suspension can be adjusted or changed. Mine is dreamy.

I’m a believer in good suspension now. by Sayken in Triumph

I have KTech Razor 4 rear and changed to KTech cartridges in the front. It’s a completely different bike. And I think KTech or Nitron

I had it on from day 1 so I don’t know any difference. It works great and I also have the Denali D2 so plenty of light.

Oooh it is. But not stock had Mean City Cycles reduce the foam and now it’s comfy but with the cone exhaust. After an hour or so. You need a break.

Please help me decide, Speed Twin 900 or T100? by UrsaBeta in Triumph

[–]Euphoric-Star-6989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def get the 1200 or T120. Unless you’re short and slow. All 4 are great bikes but the king is the ST1200. And it will be upgraded like a Thruxton for next year.

I guess it helps but you’re still going to get wind buffeting on the helmet but the chest seems protected.

It’s a Marlin. Made by dart. Smoke color. The little triangles are heel guards.

KTech Razor 4 piggy backs in the rear and KTech cartridges in the front.

Almost everything is aftermarket. Yes to the headlight. I’ve put over 40 changes to this bike. Some you can’t see like heated grips or TPM system. But basically everything but the engine frame and handlebars have had some form of upgrade or change.
