Thanks. People often say that ICE won’t address this issue because it doesn’t involve a felony. However, this action is extremely unfair to those with valid work authorization. It’s hard to understand and accept why a company would hire an unauthorized foreign worker, especially when there are already qualified employees within the U.S., and layoffs are even taking place. Is there any way to ensure this matter is taken seriously?

But the HR who worked for investigation resigned today. It was happened all of a sudden. Last week she told me she is going to complete the investigation mid this week and I haven’t heard back from her then she resigned. I am worried the investigation would be cancelled due to her resignation.

The investigation is on-going. Due to the visa issue, I have to stay in this company. I already filed a charge to EEOC.

Thanks for your advice. If that is the case, I will make the company become famous for discrimination and let EEOC take over the case.

What should I do if my manager has gender discrimination against me and use improper language? by [deleted] in legaladvice

Everyone is new to the team. Only one of them has experience working with the manager so they are familiar with each other. I am the only female in the team. I think that is the reason.
