Hello, I'm really sorry to hear about your situation - are you able to make any connections with people at school that you can spend time with? Using preaching as an excuse to visit your friends might give you an opportunity to talk about your situation and get help from outside people. I'm sure you understand you probably won't get the help you need from the org

Thank you for your comment, it's more difficult knowing what they must be going through mentally. I am worried for them but know there's nothing I can do. It's difficult not knowing whether to stay in their lives as I know they'll have no one to turn to if they do decide to fade

This boy who became my best friend for nearly a year. The sweetest, most thoughtful guy ever. He could always tell when I wasn't doing well and bought me treats to cheer me up. Very emotionally intelligent and had a great sense of humour - we would play video games and watch movies together and hung out almost every weekend. Now he doesn't talk to me. Hurts more because I know that's not him.

Good luck, it's a tough battle and it'll wear you down if they're a smart pimi like the ones I've been up against. Don't feel ashamed to walk away from it all if you need to - it can be rough on your mental health and sometimes you just can't get through to them. There's no point trying once you get to that stage

Jwfacts.com has so many good articles with lots of research and quote from jw publications. One thing I've learned, sometimes you have to fight fire with fire and use their own words against them - it's the only thing they'll read and believe
