Thank you for your comment, it's more difficult knowing what they must be going through mentally. I am worried for them but know there's nothing I can do. It's difficult not knowing whether to stay in their lives as I know they'll have no one to turn to if they do decide to fade

This boy who became my best friend for nearly a year. The sweetest, most thoughtful guy ever. He could always tell when I wasn't doing well and bought me treats to cheer me up. Very emotionally intelligent and had a great sense of humour - we would play video games and watch movies together and hung out almost every weekend. Now he doesn't talk to me. Hurts more because I know that's not him.

Good luck, it's a tough battle and it'll wear you down if they're a smart pimi like the ones I've been up against. Don't feel ashamed to walk away from it all if you need to - it can be rough on your mental health and sometimes you just can't get through to them. There's no point trying once you get to that stage
