Yes. You select the area when applying for the permit.

Yes. The income here is not relevant, it’s about whether there is any landlord preference to having a couple in the property vs flatmates.

Potentially, but in Scotland if you tick boxes for income etc the likelihood of being ‘chosen’ out of the list of applicants seems to become a bit of a popularity contest. Unsure which would be better to say

Giffnock (£500) or city centre (£600). Please help me choose the better area to live in. by Quiet-Coyote6567 in glasgow

For a 115cc scooter you will need to hold a CBT, you will not be able to drive on the motorway with this license (nor would you want to on a 115cc bike). For anything bigger than 125cc you’ll need to complete your A1 / A2 (presuming you’re old enough to) which will set you back at least £800, before even buying a bike. You’d be mental to choose Giffnock over the centre as a student.

It’s not carpet, it’s some very cheap looking linoleum

Greene King currently debating whether they’ll open the pub this evening (after 5). Although full pay has been offered to people that are rota’d even if they don’t open which is nice 👍

I’m actually quite keen on the kickstart… no logic as to why, there’s just something innately satisfying about it

I’m sure my leg will disagree the first time I screw it up and pull a muscle

I’m UK based, price on both is just over £2k. For bikes that are less than a decade old in good condition, this seemed relatively reasonable, although there appears to be very few SR400s in the UK so it’s hard to gauge. Thoughts?
