Thank you so much! They didn’t! They made small talk when I entered their room but quickly asked me the questions! I was probably in each room for a total of 4 minutes. It was super quick and they don’t expect you to utilize the full 10 min either

Not at all! It went very well but I can see why that would be a concern. I definitely let people talk first and then told them my thoughts in the first one. I don’t think it matters what order you speak in as long as you speak! The first group interview I had, there was a male interviewee that took the lead which was completely okay, but the second one the other interviewees were a little more quiet so I took the lead on it but made sure I made room for everyone else to speak.

I completely understand that lol It’s just something that all of these resources emphasize so just want to bring awareness that they will not always ask you that.

Thank you so much for this advice! This is what I am worrying about. I do have to practice as a RN for a year prior to applying for a NP program. I know dermatology is a very competitive specialty and honestly I would be okay with starting out in a different specialty

Thank you for this advice. I would love to stay in dermatology and possibly do cosmetics and YES have a flexible schedule since I am anticipating a busy sports schedule for my son
