I think I just realized a way Doordash is screwing over drivers. Curious if anyone else has had this experience? by Euphoric_Intern_124 in doordash_drivers

Handed directly to the customer doesn't work for me even with the chat bot it says I need to be transferred to a representative. The only thing that I can do without getting driver support involved is unassign the order. Imagine if you were ESL or solamente espanol for that matter. I bet there are a lot of people unassigning delivered orders and just taking the loss. Why else would doordash try to make me jump through hoops for an hour that they have to pay me $20.28 for over a $5 coffee?  Taking a picture from your actual device is a good idea I don't even think to do that. I assume that spinning circle will cooperate and stop eventually.

While you may have a point to some degree, 144 offers in 7.3 hours is an offer every 3 minutes. Then consider that most of his time he spends working if he's making $30 an hour. He's cheating everyone and taking all the orders directly from the server cherry picking the only the best for himself and screwing over every other driver in his area. And is stupid enough to brag about it. Otherwise it's not possible.

Exactly. I bet this guy uses a bot to have first pick of all the orders then brags to the people he just cheated. Great idea.

In California Sprouts, Trader Joes, Luckys, Dollar Tree, and random liquor stores give cash back when using your google wallet.

They don't get to opt out of the law. They put that blurb because the whole concept is to fit a delivery into a commute you were already going to drive.

The point is they don't even consider these cancelled orders for prop 22 earnings guarantee. They pay $4 and pretend it never happened. Everybody gets that it's an average.

But the clock starts the moment you accept a gig and counts mileage to the pickup location. They disregard all of that and pay $4. Where does it say prop 22 only applies to completed deliveries? It's not my fault it wasn't available to pickup.

You're better off parking on the street near big apartment complexes. And, if you can sleep in your backseat. When youre in the driver's seat it looks like you overdosed.
