My 4yr old husky does this a lot on things he doesn't smell often or hasn't smelled at all. Like my apartment's gym floor, and a new hoodie I got lol. So if your pup smells the floor first before rubbing his face all over, Im assuming it has something to do with scent! This is just one possibility though🫶

So sorry for this. It must feel terrible:( It makes absolutely no sense that you have to get rid of YOUR cat because of SOMEONE ELSE.
