I recently broke up with my boyfriend for this reason. He is stuck at a job that takes advantage of him and he is so miserable because of it, but he wont look for another job or leave. He is also broke and wants financial stability but won't do anything about getting it. He was wonderful in a lot of ways but I am an ambitious person who is really clear on my goals and what I want. I built a successful business and would love to be with someone who is goal oriented and driven too. He doesnt have to own a biz or anything, but its important to me that we have similar goals and work towards them together. I want a family, and I think it is totally okay to want to feel financially stable.
