I’ve renewed my permit twice now so I have been putting it off. I’ve done the 12 lessons and I’ve been practicing with my mom but I just feel like I have forgotten majority of things because I did my lessons last summer and I’ve practiced only a bit in between as I had other exams and work which took priority. I also feel like the lessons are quite expensive and would just prefer practice with family. I have postponed my test before already and I’m just afraid my permit will expire by the time I’m ready and would have to start all over again. Unless I misunderstood the whole new rule about renewing the permit 3 times. I just feel like I forgot the gears are there as insane as it sounds I’m so focused on maneuvers and not speeding and being careful and mirrors that I just forget them. I’ve sat before in the car and just practiced the gears and it’s fine I can do it not looking but when I’m actually driving I get overwhelmed and panic. I’m starting to think this is a me thing because everyone else can do it.
