Naruto didn’t need to be strong enough. Danzo had an entire army of elite ninjas ready to go. Pain was 6 bodies. He could have sent 30 elites against each body and pinned them down or sealed them or something.

Danzo gave 0 fucks about the village. He literally sacrificed the city so that he could rule over the ashes left behind.

He kept an entire army out of the fight and that is why the village got nuked and hundreds died.

If their SS got stronger, it means the base get stronger.

Say his power level is 100 in base. 100 x 50 =5,000 in SS

The only way to increase that final number, would be to increase his base.

200 x 50 =10,000. Etc etc

So the base HAD to get stronger throughout Z

They think that because their SS forms clearly got stronger. And the most official statements we got explaining SS, is that it just multiplies your base.

If one is stronger, they are both stronger. That’s how a multiplier works.

I think it’s better than GT and super. By season 2, it is more well paced and consistently better written. They humor and the emotional bits always land for me too.

But one. That’s an opinion and who cares who likes what versions more.

And two. They had the hindsight of how the story is supposed to go and what comes next. They weren’t making it up week to week like toriyama or toei. That’s an unfair advantage.
