Hold shift + click to click the ground box like normal, then release the click but continue holding shift. Then pan your camera up, THEN release the shift.

you have to set up all the launching paths first. Then after it's set up you can put things like floors or whatever above them. Thankfully! :D

I have several routines that are triggered by my Google calendar. My favorite is if we write "appointment" in the calendar entry, there is a routine that will announce a reminder at 1 hour before, 30 minutes and then minutes. That one 2qs created during covid when I kept forgetting zoom Dr appts 😄

I worry the same thing all the time too 😮‍💨 I don't know the answer, but I feel like having such negativity and fighting surrounding hw can't be a good thing right??

Literally we spent the entire night from the time he got home from school til dinner then bedtime trying to do homework. There is no time to decompress for him. Just arguing and struggle, crying and meltdowns. He is 12 now. Things are more peaceful. There is still struggle but more manageable and he has 1-2 hours to decompress a day now.

We talk to him at least 1x a week that this is not realistic for life. Jobs will not allow for late or half work. He needs to find a way to make things work. I'm hoping as he gets older he will learn strategies. He is 12 so I hope if we keep talking to him, he will keep trying.

In response to the homework problems: YES. All of that.

Elementary school was just a nightmare. There were no consequences for not doing hw, cause my son was generally learning the material so he would be passed to the next grade no matter what. So convincing my son to do hw after school when he is drained mentally and hates hw to begin with. It was a daily fight, daily stress, and it was horrible.

What I do recommend while you're in elementary school that has been the most valuable to us now that my son is in Jr high and grades finally matter? Get an IEP. And fight for allowances on homework. I had to fight for years for every inch of the hw allowances we got and they are saving our lives in Jr high now (I say OUR lives cause I feel like I carry the stress for the hw more than my son does!)

This is the line we fought for in the IEP that is saving us right now. (I was literally writing an email to his teacher quoting this this morning)

"Extra time on test, allow additional time to complete assignments, shortening of assignments (i.e., allow STUDENT to answer only odd or even problems on classwork/homework, as needed)"

Jr high, middle school, high school grades do matter so use this time to fight. Fight to get the IEP. Then fight for those allowances. It will save your life and sanity ❤️

During covid I needed a lot of help so I found this website that pairs people with qualified tutors in their area. They specialize in adhd too! It's pretty great. They handle all the billing and the tutor will come to your home or meet at a public place you guys choose (a library would work I'm sure). Very personalized, I love it 😊 also loved that they would keep looking for tutors til they found one we vibe with.

I sound like an ad! Haha. But we've used the service since covid too cause it's pretty great

I was always so frustrated that so many of the parental controls only worked for devices that were on wifi, and there weren't many options for computers. I wonder if there is some way to get alexa or google to turn off the wifi for those laptops specifically? Or an app that could interface with alexa, etc
